1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

713Haul provides logistics and courier services in Montego Bay and international freight forwarding into Jamaica.

  • Air Freight: Expedited transport for time-sensitive cargo via air carriers.

  • Sea Freight: Economical transport for larger or heavier shipments via ocean vessels. (coming soon)

  • Ground Transportation: Localized delivery and pickup services within the coverage area of St. James.

  • Value-Added Services: Real-time tracking, rate estimation tools, and flexible pickup/delivery locations.

2. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Accuracy of Information: Customers must provide accurate descriptions, values, and documentation for all shipments. 2.2 Packaging: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure items are packed securely for international transit. 713Haul is not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging. 2.3 Documentation: Customers must provide invoices for all items. Failure to do so will result in delays at Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA). 2.4 Shipping Address: Customer must ensure each line is entered exactly as shown on their customer portal. Packages may be delayed or lost if the address is not entered correctly, and incur a special processing fee.

3. COMPANY RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Standard of Care: 713Haul agrees to handle all packages with reasonable care and professional diligence. 3.2 Delivery Commitment: We aim to meet estimated timelines, but do not guarantee specific delivery dates due to variables such as customs clearance and third-party carrier schedules.

4. PRICING AND PAYMENT

4.1 Fee Structure: Charges are calculated based on the greater of actual weight or dimensional weight. 4.2 Additional Charges: Rates are subject to:

  • Processing Fees: For documentation handling.

  • Service Charges: For local logistics and administration.

  • Handling Fees: For oversized or fragile items. 4.3 Estimates: Rate estimates provided on 713haul.com are not final prices and may vary slightly when the final invoice is generated. 4.4 Payment Terms: All freight and customs charges must be paid upfront or at the time of delivery. Package release is contingent upon full payment.

5. DELIVERY TERMS

5.1 Standard Timeframes:

  • Air Freight: 3–5 business days from arrival at our international warehouse.

  • Sea Freight: 10–14 business days from arrival at our international warehouse.

  • Ground (St. James): 24–48 hours after customs clearance. 5.2 Failed Delivery: If a delivery fails after two attempts due to customer unavailability, the item will be returned to our St. James hub. 5.3 Storage Fees: Items not collected within seven (7) business days of notification will incur a daily storage fee of $250 JMD.

6. PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS

713Haul strictly adheres to the Jamaica Customs Agency prohibited list. We do not ship:

  • Illegal drugs, firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

  • Pornographic material.

  • Hazardous chemicals, pressurized cans, or flammable liquids.

  • Perishable goods (unless by special arrangement).

  • Note: Any prohibited items found will be confiscated by authorities, and the customer’s account may be terminated.

7. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

7.1 Liability Limit: 713Haul’s liability for loss or damage is limited to $100 USD (or the JMD equivalent) or the cost of the freight, whichever is lower, unless additional insurance is purchased. 7.2 Claims: Claims for damage must be made at the time of delivery. Once a package is signed for and accepted, 713Haul is absolved of further liability.

8. REFUND POLICY

8.1 Service Refunds: Refunds are only issued for service failures within 713Haul's direct control. 8.2 Non-Refundable: Customs duties, taxes, and third-party shipping costs paid to carriers are non-refundable once the service has been initiated. 8.3 Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days via the original payment method.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

713Haul is not liable for delays or losses caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes).

  • Aviation or maritime accidents.

  • Customs inspections or government-ordered holds.

  • Global pandemics or labor strikes.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

10.1 Process: Customers must first submit a formal complaint to info@713haul.com 10.2 Governing Law: These terms are governed by the Laws of Jamaica. Any legal proceedings shall take place in the courts of Jamaica.

11. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

713Haul collects customer data (Name, TRN, Address) solely for the purpose of shipping and customs clearance. We do not sell customer data to third parties. We comply with the Data Protection Act of Jamaica.

12. MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION

12.1 Modifications: 713Haul reserves the right to update these terms at any time via 713haul.com. 12.2 Termination: We reserve the right to close any account for fraudulent activity, non-payment, or verbal abuse of staff.
